Indy trip car problems revealed.

For those who read about my trip to Indy on Friday know what I am talking about.
Well, I pulled it apart and found #4 & #5 rods bearings looking less than stellar.:mad: However, they did not spin and the crank looks much better than anticipated.:) It looks like some stuff is embedded in the bearings(and no its not pieces of the crank :rolleyes:)
Tomorrow, the journals get measured(tape measures are great:thumb:) and will get cleaned up. Best part is a set of bearings for the 3.8 are only $23.:D

I know, Brad already chimed in on another thread. It really was a drive in, pick up, drive out sort of thing. If I had been able to stay overnight, I would have let you guys know and we could have gone to get some chow and a drink or two or three.:eyebrows:
