Looking for a DD/Project...

I'm looking for a winter project to fix up into a DD. Highest preference is for a 4-door, '88-91 turbo car, in black. Lancer/Lebaron, Spirit, Shadow/Sundance, etc. I'd also consider Daytona's and Lebaron Coupe/Vert - still prefered in black. Not too interested in L-bodies. And no rust buckets. It needs to have at least a complete interior. Engine/trans condition (or even exsistence) is not so important - I have a garage full of spare engine/trans parts. Also, since my wife will NEVER drive it, I prefer 5-speed cars, but it really doesn't matter that much.

Budget is ~$1000 (or less, of course).

There's a nice dismantled one on eBay that's perfect for me. It's in Wolverine Lake, too. I'm watching it...

It is indeed black. Red interior. Koni's all around. VGC crabs. Best I've ever seen. Brand new Toyo Proxes 4's. Drivetrain is already pulled. Set-up for a A-523/A-568.

To bad your so far away. I have a MINT 86 new yorker in my garage that has no motor and Ive been thinking of selling because I want to finish a old project, and it is taking up my time and $$.

I think I saw it, but NJ is too far to drive for a $700 car...

i figured wouldnt be more than 300$ in gas/diesel and the car could be had for less than 700 so for under a grand i figured it wasnt a bad deal
