I was doing a little fall cleaning in my shop today and realized that I never got any good pics of my blue Iroc R/T I picked up earlier this year. I hosed the dust off of her and snapped a few. This car(when I get time) will get better treatment than my red 91 got in its resro. I have been slowly collecting mint parts for her and will tear her apart for a full rotisserie(sp?) resto in the near future. The car was a southern car most of its life so its got a 98% chassis to start with. The best of all is its 1 of the only 2 remaining with the factory sunroof option and the only one that had that and light grey power cloth. Heres what it looks like now......

You are correct Rich! ALL 8 US Production Blue Iroc R/T's are accounted for except for the location of the Stolen one. Their are also 2 Blue Iroc R/T's that were built to Export specifications. One of those two has been located, in Canada.

NICE clean up on the car Jackson! It is looking good. I'll get the pics uploaded to my site to update your gallery. Keep up the good work! :thumb:

Restoration? What the french, toast?
That car looks like it just rolled out of the dealership.
Congrats on the purchase Jackson...:thumb:

That blue is VERY nice. Almost as nice as the Fuji blue available on the Conquest TSi and just as rare. I can't believe only 8 people ordered them...

Super nice Jackson. Remember me from Az. I am now in SD and the Comp Shadow in running again with GT30 conversion, TU head, header, with 3" swing valve and 3" exhaust on the way.
Ported 2 piece, +40 injectors, custom cal in the works. I am currently running only 9psi until I get the +40 injectors and cal. Boost will get turned up to around 18-20. Should be fun.

I thought there were a few that were exported, I just ddin't know where or how many. Did the Canadian cars get glass lamps like the European cars?

It seems that the Canadian Iroc R/T's were titled/Badged as Chrylser Daytona Iroc R/T. However, they did not get the full Export treatment like the European R/T's. The European Chrysler Daytona Iroc R/T's got; Glass Headlights w/Amber Glass Corner Marker/Turn Signal Lights, Glass Tail Lights, Amber Oval Front Fender marker lights above the DOHC Badge and Oil Cooler adaptor on the Oil Filter, and Pentastar Emblem on the Hood in place of the Rams Head Decal. It seems as though their wasn't a lot of consistancy with the Export vehicles.

not bad at all for sitting in a field! that car looks awesome.
so by spring we'll see what a better than factory new blue iroc r/t should look like or do we have to wait till sdac 19 and see it in cincy?

i have seen one of the blue canadien iroc r/ts in 2005 at the glsdac fall colors tour event, he was leaking power steering fluid and i gave him a quart halfway through the cruise. it was in great shape too with black valve covers.

Ha! You actually think I can do a full resto on this thing in like 6 months? I had 2 years in my red 91 Shelby and that thing is far from perfect and far from how good I want this one to look. Not to mention I will need about 15grand to do this car the way I want it,and thats with a stock motor......

Im not sure when this is gonna happen,I have two cars to get done before I can even think about the blue one and I want to build a hot rod Spirit for the next season to make some awesome power and go like hell:D
