Possible with A413 tranny still in the car? It's leaking rather badly, so I'd like to change the gasket out.

gasket?? RTV works if the cover is flat

Ultra Black, clean cover, no worries. You should have about 4 inches clearance, you can actually manage to fit diff saver tabs while you're in there.

Cool, just wasn't sure if there was enough room. Already have the tabs ;)

I re-did the diff cover gasket yesterday using gasket maker and lock tight for the bolts, all is good! While I was there, I went ahead and changed out the pan gasket and filter since it was also leaking a bit. I'm very happy now...no more puddles under my car!
