My clutch in mt R/T is starting to slip and I have a McLeod that came out of my 8V Spirit with a 523 tranny. The clutch doesnt have more than 2500 miles on it and would hate to throw it away. I think it will work in the R/T, I just wanted to make sure. Should the clutch be OK in my R/T?

If it both are 91 and up, yes.

How do I tell if the tranny is a 91 or newer? The car was originally a auto and I pieced it together to turn it into a manual tranny. It has the reverse gear below 5th just like the 568.

the round ID tag on the transmission case will have a month-year date stamp on it.

90 input shaft has 18 spline.
91 and up has 17 spline
Time to count. :)

Make sure the pressure plate sits inside of the timing windows to avoid that.
