OK, so after only 2000ish km's on my hybrid 16v I started having top end issues. One thing i found was that my plugs are toast. The insulator on one of them was compleatly gone (#1) and the insulators on #2 and 3 where cracked off just hanging on the electrode, but #4 was just fine. the plugs where champ RN9YC gapped to .026 and larger and i was blowing out my spark.


What plugs are you guys running in your 16v's?

Thats called DETONATION my friend.

You can run any plug you want and it won't fix the problem until you stop it from detonating.
