I own a '89 Lebaron H body that I changed front pads and discs about four months ago. Everything was fine until last week, when I brake the front right brake makes a small clunk noise when I stop. Is that the caliper sticking oir what ?

Thanks

I would check and see if the bolts for the caliper bracket came loose or the caliper pins came loose. Also, check the lower ball joint.

The flex hoses tend to age and swell in the middle, valving pressure under certain conditions, leading to delayed then sudden engagement, delayed then sudden release etc...

However, check the rest of the suspension components, there's quite a few things that can clunk when braking. Balljoint as mentioned, also tie rods, both ends, loose shock or BJ clamp bolts, loose/worn control arm pivot bushings, cracked K frame, even the CV joints can do it if the motor is off center and there's play in them.

Edit: oh, worn swaybar bushings do some funny clunks as well.
