ok i got a GARRET T2, turbonetic swing valve, 3" exhaust and double stacked IC, +20's, 255lph pump, stage 1 pcm and some other mods but those are the importants i guess. i really no nothing about water/alk inj other then what ive tried searching on here for just basic info but im getting more install help and such. what would alky inj do for my setup? currently running about 16-18psi through a map bleed setup. would it allow higher boost in my app and if so do i need to do any internal strengthening to allow for that?? :o

You already have a stout engine.

Alky is used for a couple main reasons-

1) To add more fuel, IE methanol when your fuel system runs out of steam-this is a cheaper way to some.

2) To reduce or eliminate detonation when running high boost on low octane gas-IE not wanting to run race gas.

If you can run 18 or more psi on pump gas with no detonation, then you don't really need alky, if you want to run lower octane gas or higher boost and have detonation issues, then get some alky. I use 50/50 windshield washer fluid, good stuff,
