The power seat base/rails I got in today is somewhat rusty. didnt expect it to be quite this rusty but it was from a Michigan car and chrysler didnt paint these parts or give them any finishing what so ever
the visable portions where it bolts to the floor are going to get wirebrushed clean, penetrol and maybe some black rattle can magic
but for the rest of it ???? its assembled permanetly with rivets & welding. all the adjusting mechanisms are semi permanetly attached as well, so trying to paint around all that isnt really possible
maybe just spray it down with WD-40 and wipe off the excess ?
also what can I use to lubricate the adjusting cables ? regular grease would be too heavy and spray lube not heavy enough
