Ok, I did search but I really didn't find the answer I was looking for.
What years and models came eqipped with the A568 trans? Oviously the R/T's did, but what about oh say a 1990-91-92-93-94-95 V6 Shadow/ Duster/ Daytona/ lebaron/ spirit/ acclaim ect....
And how hard are the to get parts for?

Any VNT car along with the 91 (perhaps 92 also?) cars with the high torque option in addition to the IROC and R/Ts. I believe that the syncros et. al. are the same between the 523 and the 568, but that is just my impression, I haven't actually swapped the stuff myself to know.

ALL 90 turbo minivan with manual transmission
ALL 91-93 r/t cars
ALL 90 vnt cars
Some 90+ 2.5L TI cars
V6 came with A543 and have different bell housing.
You can verify what transmission you have by:
Tag on top of the transmission
Count the differential gear and intermedia shaft teeth to get the final gear ratio
Take picture of the gears

Guts are the same, case is different. NOt sure if its a 568 or 555 or ? trans internally though.

the A543 was basically an A523 with either a 3.50 or 3.77 fd in a V6 case
and the gear ratio varies betweeh the 90-91 trans, and 92+
92+ were 3.77fd and had longer gearset, make it a 3.50 and you have something similar to a 568/523 3.50 hybrid!
