Hello, This is the first forum I have ever been a part of, so please bare with me. I reside in central Texas, and I have owned my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L Hemi for about 1 year now. But I am wanting to do some upgrades to the performance. I have aleady put flowmasters with dual exhaust on it. But I was thinking about purchasing a Superchips programmer and maybe a cold air kit. Is there any other suggestions or reccomendations that would make a noticable differance for as little $$$$ as possible? Right now everything is stock except the exhaust. Thanks. Hope to hear from someone soon.
Welcome to the forum! I moved your thread to the most appropriate section.

Welcome to the board! I don't have any experience with those trucks, but I am sure that someone who does will be along soon. Enjoy your stay! :)

The power to $$$ ratio is always up for debate, but I've found that headers are a huge gain on the 5.7L hemi engines. I'm sure there's lots of programers on the market that claim good gains as well. I think it's comp cams who sells some upgraded sticks as well.
What kind of goals do you have?

Well of coarse fuel economy will improve with some mods. But it won't improve unless I control my heavy foot. I don't accualy have any goals, to be honest with you. I just have been neglecting my truck for a while now, and I want to beef it it some. The Superchips programmer makes a noticable differance on the 5.7. I don't have any actual numbers or readings. But I liked the differance it made. I had to sell mine for other reasons. But I plan to get another. Just a few add ons is my goal accually. Headers, programmer, cold air kit, and possibly a posi track is what I am thinking. I was just wondering if anyone out there had any advice or suggestions from thier past mods of this particular vehicle. Thanks.
