Hey guys...well after rebuilding the shelby and putting a 2.5 with a s60 turbo.....i finally got it running sweet..oil pressure is damn near perfect..idling awesome...but. i have a knock....it sounds just like the knock i had on my sundance, it was a wrist pin knock.....its sounds very alike...anyways..i have made a video with sound for it so all you can take an look and listen...and tell me what you guys think it is....Heres the file:

That sounds just like my sister's car.
If it is a piston/rod bearing problem, you could eliminate it by pulling one spark plug at a time and see if the noise changes.

Define rebuild? everyone has a different idea what a rebuild entails? did you keep the BS?

It sounds like valvetrain, lifter issue.

The rod knock I've encountered always got worse when the gas was applied, or when it was revving down.

Take off the valve cover and see if you might have a rocker that fell off or maybe a faulty lifter.

Yea..i am going to hope its a collaped lifter....gonna get on top of it tonight..

sounds like lifter/cracked rocker arm.
