1987 Dodge ram d50 pickup

Does anybody know if the 87 dodge ram (mitsu truck) d50 pickups had fuseable links? My co worker has one that he took to have exhuast put on and we think they welded on it without disconnecting the battery. It now does not charge. Where would the links be at? Any body point me in the right direction?

Mike's truck? I don't have a manual for any of the mitsu trucks, but accroding to autozone's online guide there does appear to be fusible links.

Should be along the two white wires coming off the alternator, they should be hot all the time so you can look for 12V where they meet the alternator to test.
