Clay and I have received an occasional note/message asking about interest in starting/restaring an Indy Chapter. While I'm sure both of us would LOVE to do so, every attempt as ended in a general lack of participation and interest from most everyone else. I guess if you are serious in trying to get one off the ground, please contact either of us and we can get the ball rolling (with Barry's permission and help, of course!)

Yup! Let either John or I know if there is interest. There seem to be quite a few Turbo Dodge/Mopar people in Indiana.

Like we have said in the past, we would love to do this, but the participation level from everyone has to make it worth our time.

I would like to try it again. I think there is several more TD'ers around this time. I'm in for sure.

mrmopar66 has some td cars and is working on a t2 omni swap. Fathouse used to own some td's but now he is too good for td's, he has dsm's. I wish I was a cool guy sometimes.

There is also a kid in greenwood that is into the td's. His name is brevin. He was on TD.COM as glhturb022. You might invite him on here for invite points clay if he isn't here already.

ahhhh you'll be fine!!

Hey, on your idle problem, I had issues with my GLHT's idle at one time. I replaced/rebuilt the IAC (the TI IAC SUCKS!), checked the wiring, replaced a few other things, and what seemed to help the most was new gas!!

I unhooked the feed line, hooked up another piece of long fuel hose to a gas can, then hooked up a set of jumper wires to the pump and turned it on. I drained the tank completely, then put *fresh* premium fuel in the tank (about 5 gallons worth), and started it up. That seemed to help more than anything else Ive done to the car to fix the idle.

I'm always game...just tell me what you want me to do...were to meet or whatever. My Daytona is back on the road again...still stock and slow but it drives fine.

EDIT...I have new phone number...if anyone wants to get a hold of me. I just moved and I don't have internet yet, at least for a week.

For those who want to help promote a future Indy area SDAC group, there is a FREE Cruz-In at the DaimlerChrysler Kokomo Transmission Plant here in Kokomo located in the front lawn right on the west side of US-31. More details are in the Events Forum section. Contact me for more details, questions, or directions. It would be nice to see anyone who can make it there!
