Reverse HEP question

Were you guys swapping wires in the plugs so you don't have to flip the HEP 180 degrees, or does both have to be done regardless? All the pics in the old threads are gone, and I don't have Excel to view Dave Bohrer's file :(

In a nutshell, move reluctor wheel one hole, swap wires 2 and 3, grind off HEP locator and flip 180. Now you can do what I did and just modify the HEP plugs so you can swap plugs back and forth or actually change the wiring at the computer side. Choice is yours, ;)

You have to flip the HEP and change the wires, as now, you've moved the pickup location and need the computer to read the correct one. So in a nutshell, you need the black to go to the gray and vice versa.
