GM EOS is good stuff, very thick and won't run off, I also use Lubriplate, also good stuff and its in a tube so not as messy.

I've always used the redline assembly lube, it comes in a little tub and is nice and thick so doesn't run all over the place.

3m or Sta lube moly graph ....I like the moly compounds...affinity for hot
metal..
I also remove the oil pump cover and fill the gears with synth 85-90
just my .02$

Usually it's lubriplate. I've been hearing good things about the assembly lube from BG, I'll probably try that out next.

I usually just pack assembly lube in the pump with a little bit of engine oil in first. Turn the pump by hand to make sure it sucks in the lube and you're done.

I usually use redline but in a pinch have used trans jelly.

70/30 white lithium grease/petroleum based motor oil

will dissolve very quickly in the oil, but also suspends the motor oil where it needs to be for as long as you want - the engine can sit for years and be ready to go

ended up using 40 w oil .had to give it a try and it worked great.

lubriplate sucks dirt from 100 ' away........or maybe you can just see the dirt better.lol

1500 miles on motor and so far so good :)
