How much cfm does the stock cooler flow? Looking to get a bigger than stock cooler with obviously better flow.
Don't want to chop unless I have to, easy to install not a same side unless someone has had good results with one.(can't afford a Spearco.) I found a 18"x12"x3" that only flows 150cfm does'nt sound like much to me. I also found a 24"x12"x3" that flows 350cfm, I don't want to go bigger than 24"- smaller would be better.
Will have a little better than 300hp:thumb:(stock is only good for 250-60?) , and will running 3" piping affect spool up?
Thanks for any info, Curt.:D

I have a evo 8 intercooler and its seems pretty efficient. I get a little quicker spool up, and 14psi vs 12psi with nothing else changed. (Grainger inline compressor reference line, and wastegate.) Also the hot side will burn my hand, and the cold side is cool to the touch.

You can get them cheap too, They go for about 40-80 dollars.

Dont run 3" unless your making the power to need it. Its more space for the turbo to fill before it starts to build pressure. Just like a small air tank on a compressor will fill alot quicker than a large one.

How big is an evo intercooler? ?x?x?x , I would rather not have to chop if I don't have to. Just something that is bigger than stock and flows better than stock. Daily driver in summer only and Auto Cross.
