low boost... still

so I still got low boost from my factory turbo II set up on the 89 lebaron GTC

what happens If I connect waste gate hose directly to the fitting on the turbo outlet? will it self regulate?

yeah i think it does (7-10psi) i'm thinking? correct me if im wrong...

If you hook the wastegate to manifold vacuum, you should get around 5 psi and it should be solid. If not, then you have an issue with the wastegate or tension or the turbo could be shot.

I found the problem... timing belt had walked forward aout 1/4" and shredded in the cover. cam timing was wwaaaaayyyy off.

new timing belt and motor timed correctly now... much more peppy!
