Hey guys,
I think it's time to put my GTS up for sale.
Here's the skinny:
The engine is an 88 2.2L with approx 125k miles
Turbo: 89 Garret T2 w/ 2.5" SV
Exhaust: 2.5 DP to full 3 inch, with 3 inch high flow cat, and Flowmaster Super 40 Muffler
Boost Control: G-valve set @ 14 psi, Dawes Device TD specific monitor for A/F
GLHS Stage 2 LM
GLHS Radiator/IC, recored about 15k miles ago, new nipple welded on for overflow last year.
92 A523 with 3.85 final, FWDPerformance T2/T3 clutch combo (with approx 6k miles or less on it)
A/C Removed
No radio
I'd give the interior a 6/10, seats are vinyl (leather...lol) with some rips, headliner was redone last year, sun visors are long since gone.
Tires have about 8k miles on them. BFG Radial T/A. Look super sweet.
Gen 1 DSM BOV
Digital dash, everything works except the trip odometer
Aftermarket mechanical oil pressure gauge
The body doesn't really have any rust to speak of. A little surface here and there, a little paint peel here and there.
Things the car needs:
E-brake cable broke on me recently. Just needs a new cable to be 100% operational (I used it all the time till it broke)
Windshield wipers are non-functional. Probably the ground strap, but I haven't gotten there yet.
Windows are power. Drivers side (front and rear) work great, passenger side needs new plastic track thing (still goes up and down, but if you pass a point, it slips) and rear window only moves about 25% of the time. Probably electrical gremlin there.
Power steering leaks a little bit. Not much, but a drop every now and again...something to keep an eye on. The rack is pretty much brand new, but the lines are original.
Fuel gauge reads full at full, Empty after around 8 gallons. It works, but...empty isn't really empty.
I've kept track of my mileage on this car for the majority of the time I've driven it. I have been averaging 25 MPG with 100% city driving. 12 miles to work, and home at lunch every day.
Things that I've replaced in the car since I bought it 3 years ago:
1. Engine/trans/axles/clutch/pp/head/turbo/exhaust/rad and ic combo/LOL
2. Front end has new everything but sway bar bushings. Energy suspension control arm bushings/ball joints/tie rods/ struts.
3. Rear shocks
4. Tires
5. Headliner
