View Full Version : New (to me) IROC R/T

Just picked it up about 2 weeks ago. It's been sitting since '03 sometime. I need to get it to the NJ shop to change out all the fluids and timing belt (it ain't broke yet, but....). It'll be my fair weather daily driver for the next few.

Nice score. Why has it been sitting? Get a nice deal on it b/c its been down so long?

It sat because the owner (an older gentleman) found a new love in a Neon R/T (???). This same guy has a '71 Challenger 340 convertable, '67 Dart GT convertable, early boxy LeBaron convertable WITH NO BACK SEAT FROM THE FACTORY, a late '80s LeBaron convertable with some funky ground effects he swears came from the factory, a GLH and Horizon that he was going to make one good car from ($350 for pair if anybody's interested), and a bunch of other goodies. I paid $2k for the R/T.

Nice pickup on the R/T. It looks like one that is sitting in South Jersey waiting for a buyer to revive it.

Who is going to do the work for you in NJ?

Yes, WV. Yes, I think the GFX looked like the red one above. Yes, I'll do my own work. No pics of other cars. I wanted to get it here this past weekend, but alas... I'll try again this weekend.
