What compression does it give you? I can't seem to find much about this particular combo, except it gives sub-8.0 compression. What is the deck height, and how much needs to be milled off the block and/or head to bring it to normal turbo specs?

Dave Boher(sp) on here is the one to contact, the diizy adapter guy. He told me once. I thinkit was low 7.2 range. But he can tell you all you are asking about.

Thanks, PM'd him. Says he was last on 2 months ago, hopefully he's still around :)

Okay, I'll try that.

Any updates? I have been wondering this same thing myself. I was also wondering if that was with the swirl head pistons or the Ghead pistons since the dishes are different.

I was thinking of getting a set of these to run in the 2.4 but get a custom rod aluminum rod made for a long-rod 2.4 running say 9.5 compression on e85.

I'd avoid aluminium rods unless you're going class racing.

Yeah, well maybe forged steel or titanium if I win powerball. How about a 318 v8 rod-aren't they pretty close to our lenght and possibly fit? I looked it up and they are 6.123 long...

Stop putting ideas in my head. :eyebrows: i have to look into this for my tall deck block with 2.5 turbo pistons

When Dave used 2.5 rods and pistons in his 2.4 set-up he got some ridiculous low compression. I think it was like 7.2-1 We made him some custom pistons to bring the compression up to 8.0-1. I think we have another set on the shelf and we could make more if wanted,
later,
Cindy

They are offset due to running 2 rods on one crank throw, ala SBC, :(

Don't bore me with details! I demand solutions. :p
can we get them without being side offset ground?

Sure, then your talking custom rods, :eyebrows:

Well put it this way, get the forged off the shelf pistons for the 2.5 use them in the 2.4 and get the custom rods- gotta be le$$ than getting custom rods AND pistons. Titanium would be great- I think the new corvette engine has that, hmmm.
