What tranny do i have?

I have an 1985 Daytona T1 5 spd. is it a 520 or 525 tranny? there is no ID plate on the top of the tranny. and i cant tell the difference. does anyone know? im sure it is the factory tranny since im only the second owner.

If its the original tranny it would be an A525. The ID tag will be on the diff cover.

Yep, definitely an A525 if it's the original. Like Turbo Rampage said, the ID tag isn't on the top of the 525 like it is on the other 5 speed transmissions.
