Here's a how-to on repairing a cracked diaphragm on a CV carb. As of the end of the thread, the guy said he had put 3500 miles on it and it was still working. I would imagine you could fix a pinhole the same way.

A larger hole might need an actual patch and you risk stiffening up the diaphragm to the point that it causes problems. If you need a patch, I'd try something really thin (maybe a piece of surgical glove if they're gas resistant) and stick it on with the glue mentioned in that post.

Hope This Helps,
Tony

Ebay seems to be a good source for motorcycle parts. If your patient and live near a large city, craigslist.org can be a great place to find parts bikes.

I don't believe I'd try RTV. Most of it isn't gasoline resistant. If you look at the back of the package they'll usually say "not for parts constantly immersed in gasoline" or something similar.
Some of the Permatex stuff is pretty gas resistant. The yellow "super tack" might be something to look into for a repair like that.

did not find parts at the meet but did find this stuff at walmart that is to be used for gas and oil and it dries flexible so im going with it to patch the float. also found that one of the carbs has a broken post where the float mounts on they had it jb welded but im going to try to get it actually welded hopefully it all works and sh will run still got some rear light issues to address but getting it running is my priority first
