Evo8 IC fits PERFECT in the daytona. Didnt need to take off the bumper or anything. I welded a tab on the top of the intercooler, and bolts it to a bracket thats bolted to one of the bumper bolts up top.

The two lower brackets I just bent up, drilled the holes, and welded on the removable front brace. Its pretty damn sturdy. Just need to flat black everything and its ready to roll.

Ill start on the stainless charge piping tomorrow. Im going to cut off the inlets, and turn and weld them them so they point towards the engine bay.

That should be a pretty nice IC. I have been interested to see one in a TM, but they haven't flooded the market the way a lot of other ICs have.

They are all over ebay for 30-80 bucks. Big mitsu tuner I know that worked at the school said they start restricting power at around 500hp on the evo. Should be enough for what ever a TM can throw at it.

That's sweet. I bet you could make a killer IC by cutting down a second core and welding the two together. That might be something to try in the future, especially if you can get them for $30 each.

I didnt like the way the outlets were positions. I made them so they point the right way now. I hate welding aluminum that isn't new. Spent more time cleaning the ---- than then fabbing everything.

IC fits nice in the Daytona:thumb: You make it look pretty easy:clap: I used stainless on the Masi and regretted every minute of it:( Cutting it is nearly impossible and I found it just generally hard to work with:o Aluminum Ebay bends from here on out for me...

Stainless isn't too bad to cut with a sawzaw, and a 24tpi bi-metal blade. Along with some oil. It still does suck to work with compared to anything else....especially this 304.

I have one I'm going to put in my '85 SC. My buddy Mark Skelton has one in his Shelby Charger as well and it fit like a glove :thumb:

Havnt worked on the car for 2 weeks and worked on it today. Almost done, Just gotta weld the cold side charge pipe, and make a turbo inlet pipe to the air filter.
