Installing wave locks

I am going to put in my rod bolts soon and i was wondering what mothod to use to install them? should i like use a big clamp and some washers or put the nut on and pull it through?

The machine shop should install the bolts. They would also have to recondition the rods after new bolts are installed. The additional clamping force of the bolts would make the big end of the rod out of round.

+1 ^ Dont even attempt to install them .... Have to get the rods resized once new bolts go in ... Or youll spin a bearing..
