This car was rednecked so I'm guessing somebody disconnected them? Are they all on the separate section to the left of the dash?

If you take the gauge cluster out, the warning lights to the left of the cluster are connected to the main circuit board with a ribbon cable. I've seen lots of cars where the connection of the ribbon cable to the main circuit board is loose. All you have to do is take the circuit board off the back and tap the rivets down to create more tension on the connection. If that does not help, check the actual connections at the bulbs with an ohmmeter.

Also, sometimes the Low Oil light does not work due to corrosion of the connector on the sending unit at the front of the engine. Usually some creative jiggling or connector replacement is all thats required.

Hope this helps

Thanks. I didn't want to pull it out without some idea of what I was looking for.
