Anyone here running Rick D's BOV setup?
I'd like to get some feedback on it before buying one.
Thanks...

Moe

Moe, I am running a Rick D. BOV. I have mine set up for venting to the atmosphere. Of course I am only running at 11psi. but it works great for me.

He is referring to this set up. It is a Upgraded stock type T-III BOV.

Rick's doesn't look anything like the one in those pics. His setup looks cleaner, almost stock, but handles upto 30psi.

Ralph, I guess you're the only one running it. How does it sound?

Different plumbing, but it's the same type BOV.

And my BOV is the same one Porsche 911 uses, not the Saab one. It has the metal stamped rubber diaphragm instead of just all rubber like the Saab one.

you just need to mount it in the stock location for it to look clean

WHOOOSSSSHHHH! :D

I am a bad one to ask how anything sounds. I have a hearing deficiency and I can't even hear my turbo spool. IF I have the windows down, I can hear the BOV when I shift. But, I am told that it is much louder that what I hear. But, it is NOT as loud as the Turbo XS RFL.

A better person to ask how mine sounds is to ask Bryan (Black86GLHS). He rode to Carlisle and back with me. I personally love the sound (as I hear it).
