10w40 motorbike oil, probably 5-600cc or 1/2 litre of oil.

Google is your friend. In a nutshell, YES, huge difference. If you don't like your bike, use car oil.
Cool bike. I used to have a XR75 and loved it. I'm fixing up a 72 XL250 and a 76 Yamaha XT500.

i used to use yamalube in all my bikes, honda, yamaha, etc. i forget the weight, but go with what simon sayed, he knows bikes like he knows vans.
back when i was about 7 or 8 (89'/90') i had a 82' HONDA XL100. it had all the lights, turnsignals, etc. i beat the crap out of that bike until i got a 89 YZ125 in 94', i used to have to start it and shut it down up against a big tree, so i could get on it, kick start it and get back off of it, lol.

Simon is correct. It is best to use motorcycle specific oil because the additive package in car oils can make the clutch slip in a powerful bike. Most bike engines and transmissions share the same oil for lubrication, so bike additive packages supposedly are tweaked with high pressure additives for the transmission.
All that said, it will make as much difference as a gnat on an elephant's butt if you use some 10-40 car oil in that 70cc Honda. That thing doesn't make enough power or heat for the type of oil to make a difference.

for $150 grab it, it will always be worth more than that in parts.
