Wrong Axles?!?!

Hey Guys, i have a 89 daytona shelby, i bought it from a kid that really didn't know anything about the car. The car pulls VERY HARD to the left side, i mean, you can't let go of the wheel or else you will crash, I saw the previous own last weekend at a party and asked if he replaced the tie rod as they look new, he said no but i did replace the axles on it. My qeustion is, could he have put the wrong axles in which is causing the very huge pull? and how could i check them? Thanks!

Check the tire sizes to make sure they are the same, then get an alignment. I don't think there are 'wrong' axles for a Daytona. L body would be too short, and not fit yet equal or unequal length would both work fine. I've had axles sieze up and/or snap inside the joint and in neither case did it pull one way or the other.
