was test driving the car, and i kept loosing the engine when i got my foot in it at every gear. checked the codes and got 12 13 34 & 45. 34 is cuz i removed the egr. i checked the waste gate and it is real hard to move by hand i didnt get a power loss light. question is about wg vac line there were none when i got the car so i made them. could i have screwed somthing up in making the line to the wg act?

You certainly could have messed up the routing of the vac line to the WG. You wouldn't be the first one of us to do so. Make sure that the WG sees direct vac from the manifold in either the stock manner or your own custom way.

It is more than possible to have a seized WG rod or arm on the SV. IIRC you are still running log TI setup, so it should be relatively easy to get back there with a wrench and try to turn the WG arm on the SV by hand to make sure that it moves freely. With a wrench on there it shouldn't take much at all to move it.The part that faces the front of the car should rotate toward the pass side of the car.

If you have an air compressor with some sort of regulator in line you can hook up a vac line to it and pressure test the WG with ~15-20PSI. That way you can see the rod moving (hopefully).

If I recall correctly.

are you talking about the rod or the actual sing valve arm?

i read a thread on here about a wg control bleed and there is supposed to be a orifice that is brass or something with a pin hole in it is that right? because i may not have that part, there were no vac lines when i got the car. maybe a description of the proper routing would help?

When I am talking about moving it with the wrench I am talking about moving the actual SV arm that the WG puck is attached to.

If you made your own lines, I would just run direct manifold vac to the WG and be done with it. You won't need a restrictor or anything to make it work. Just hook it up and you should see about 6-7PSI. Once you get the car running tip top you can worry about a manual boost controller etc.

i'll try that then at least it may get control of the wg then:)
