I was looking a while ago for rails for a set of Ultra Shield/Kirkey brackets for an L body. Upon some investigation, the stock brackers are curved (convex) to the floor pan. This sucked, because the seat bottoms are flat. Rather than spacers or fab up some goofy wedge to hold the rears up, I just bought a set of universal dual locking seat sliders from summit.

I drilled out the rivets for the stock sliders, took a few measurements, and welded in a piece of 1/8" steel on top of the stock slider mounts. perfect width, and flat enough for the seat not to warp. I will have pics up later tonight when the chassis black dries on the brackets a little better. :)

I asked around before, and nobody had good pictures of the brackets, or how to make it work. I just had to bust out the fabrication skills and make it myself. Very easy.

These seats are flat bottom and fit fine on the stock rails. I just made a simple 8-ga strip to pick up the seat mounting holes.

My brackets lowered the seat about an inch, just like I needed as well. :)
