im building a 2.5 for close to 400 horse and i am thinking of going with a holset hy 35 just wondering who is running these on different setups and there oppinions like or dislike let me know. share some info on your setup drivabilty and things of that nature

gonna be 8 valve for awhile but ported 8 valve till i can save for a masi head

i think it will be a pretty good setup even though its in an l body but i will see how fast it goes just want some other oppinions

Right around 3000 you start to hear a turbo... 3500 people starting looking for the semi... 4000 she's going and I let out of it because the setup has 150 miles on it and only minor tuning time. :thumb:
I'll report more information when it becomes available.

lots of people are running the holsets, but majority of them have 16v motors, larry has one on the rwd hybrid sundance, banshenut420 is running the hy40 with a ported bullseye housing on an iroc r/t. i will probably wind up going with one on my r/t.
as long as you stick with the hy35 and dont go bigger and have ported manifolds, big ic, 3" exhaust and a ported 8 valve it should spool real good on those wot pulls, you might experience a little more beginning lag, but the rest should make up for that.
