"1988 Dodge Shadow Shelby Turbo Charged with Signature of Carol Shelby on the steering wheel. Everything is original. Never wrecked. My son was driving this car and it quit running and I never had a mechanic look at it. My husband tried it and the motor turned over but I would say it is not driveable. My husband thinks it is a warped head. It is a collectable car with only 1500 of this type made. You can only find the value in Antiques and Collectables on the web. Excellant project car. It was clocked at 148 miles and hour. This car had the power. The interior could use some cleaning and there is a small tear on the drivers seat. There is a little rust on the hood and the door. This car would need to be picked up from Dahlonega Ga. Body straight, interior good condition. I have clear title to this car. This car is listed on ebay."

i thought there was 1000 of them. not 1500...... and clocked at 148mph eh??

I emailed the seller and they said car is not sold, the ebay listing was deleted because it was in the wrong place or something. Said the car is being moved to Dalohnega GA and gonna clean it up and take more pics and re-list on ebay within a week. Im about an hour and a half from there, thinking about taking a trip to go look at it. I sold my Shelby Daytona to move down here so I need a new project!

Could be anice project there...

The 148mph probably comes from the '89 CSX in Motor Trend's 'fastest cars of 1989' article.

yeah, the seller definatly sounds like they don't know what theyre talking about, but if its a good deal i might check it out. Probly rust free and I always liked the CSX

I talked to the owner, it is now relisted on E Bay with a $700 reserve. She is thinking she is gonna get $1700 for it due to NADA pricing. Its straight but very dirty. Paint is shot but all shelby stuff is there including wheels, steering wheel, trunk medallion etc. She thinks its worth more than it is. All in all though, it is very restorable. More than likely it needs an engine, paint, interior but would make a good project. I may bid on it but I wont spend more than $700-800 on it.

Nada is the worst thing for a person without a brain, yea in pristine running condition its worth something, but in a down market, highly unlikely

Nada is the worst thing for a person without a brain,
.... Dahlonega, yeah, you can pretty much assume they have very few thoughts in their head. The rebel flag in the pictures should be a good indicator too.

There were only 1,000 made and no you can not reach 148 mph in these cars, its not even intercooled!

Is this the same Deb lady who was selling 89 CSX stuff on TD.com not long ago?? Rear seat, door panels, steering wheel, etc?

Also, its funny how its relisted now with a reserve. Someone's seeing $$$$$$ after hearing about NADA  It's common knowledge that their values are way off on our cars.

Too bad I have too many damn projects and gotta pick up an SC from Tennessee next week. I would've liked to have gotten this car and sat it aside.
