His numbers are way off but if it comes with all the mags and all the parts, $500 is a steal. Just be aware that it could require more work than he is saying and you had better be mechanically inclined or don't get it.

Oh I'm mechanicly inclined (I'm an aircraft mechanic), my biggest issue is computers. I can wire electronics all day long, but these hard to find computers piss me off.

I'm considering it, and I automaticly assume it needs more work. Can I still find parts for it, or will I be up an unnamed creek with no paddle if I need a computer (like I seem to be with my Turismo that I love so much)?

Find a TI SMEC , get it socketed, then you can burn whatever calibration onto the chip and you're done.

I find it unlikely, he says 300 hp too. That means he has a Super 60 kit or better on it. I find this unlikely, otherwise he would have mentioned it. I figure with that car I could do to it pretty much whatever I wanted, where my turismo is limited, as a computer compatable with a knock sensor seems too difficult to find, and I don't really want to wire it up for a turbo system (talk about a real pain). from an N/A system. If I could find a computer, I wouldn't be looking at the Shadow I don't think. Wish I woulda picked up that 1985 Turbo Shelby Charger for $500 a few weeks ago.

I'd purchase it, but ask him to stop with the BS as he has made it clear he doesnt know the car. 300HP i'd hope to see either an intercooler or meth injection. The is nothing more then a 2.5 TI, and when has a mitsu put down 300HP??? The Garrett's are said to be good to 280HP IIRC?

He isn't claiming the car has 300 hp, he is stating that with the availability of parts, it is possible.

he calls it a 2.5 T2, but he could be confused and call any blowthrough a T2.

I really only see one glaring fib and that is the weight. I'd look at it for $500 if I was in the market and area.
