I have driven more than 10 16V TC Masi's, for whatever reason, this one is the quickest stock one I have driven. I suspect there is an upgraded SMEC (From a Shelby Daytona) in it. The guy who serviced this TC over the years knows that trick:thumb: This is a solid, well cared for cream puff car:love: Kinda Pricy though:o

Russ, I bought my first TC Masi to rob the drivetrain out of. On the 400 mile trip home I fell in love with the car and decided to keep it whole. Thanks to more boost and a few other tricks, it makes about 95WHP more than it did stock. That's with the stock turbo:evil: More power coming soon:eyebrows:

I guess to service the cap and rotor, you have to remove the intake?

I remember a few years back the president of the TC Club Of America arranged to have a batch of leather dyed using the original 'Ginger' color from a manufacturer. You had to pay in advance, and wait a year for your leather. It was $600. just for the leather BTW:eek: This old guy got in on that deal, then paid another $1000. to have the seats redone. He said it was four years ago and because of his 'bad knee' he has only driven the car 3K miles since:eyebrows: The seats/armrest are like brand new:clap:

This is the first white car I've ever owned. It's fantastically commonplace! :D Though I still seem to get my fair share of attention, at least I'm not getting revved on every 30 seconds or evoking the same kind of attention as the Stang. "Get in, lean back, and cruuuuuiiiiise" ;) I guess I should thank Alan for igniting my "gotta get a convertible" spark :confused2: :p It's closer to a Mopar then the Stang and a bit more acceptable right? :)

I am still negotiating with the owner, he has stacks of reciepts that he is using to gauge the value of the car. :( Yeah it's great that he spent $5800. on interior and 'servicing' the car in the last 4 years but you don't get all the labor costs back from a car... He want's me to come back over and go thru the stack with him so we are still communicating on the deal. But we may have an impass, he is asking too much of the car:p
