turbo inlet hose

What is purpose of inlet vane and can I use a hose w/o , Boostedblue:confused2::confused::wave1:

By vane do you mean the little "X" cross section piece of plastic? If so, it is for 2 reasons:

1 - to keep the hose from collapsing
2 - to straighten turbulent air flow

So you can possibly run w/o but I think it has a real purpose on the log T1 cars.
