Boost limit I should expect?

Okey Dokey. here's the setup 2.4 motor T2 rods ARP hardware, JE 8.5 1 pistons:

Turbo: Holset HY 35
Intercooler: Stock SRT4
Intake mani: INDY cylinder heads port matched and cleaned up.
Head: INDY with stock valves
Exhaust mani: RT ernie tubular SS equal length

To me the SRT4 IC looks like a little bit of a bottleneck in the system, but I'm not taking the thing out. I know the holsets can produce a incredible amount of boost on diesels, but don't know if there is a upper limit to my application. Or is the limit "More than you'll use" :)

You left out the octane and fuel injectors, pump et. cetera that also factor into the equation. most any turbo can make more boost than a motor can handle with low octane fuel running lean.

Okay, well to add then.

Fuel pump: 255lph Walbro in tank
Fuel lines: 3/8" feed 1/4" return
Fuel Injectors: 72pph Siemens Deka
AFPR: Accufab universal

Pump gas to begin with, and after the motor is broken in and running correctly I am adding Alky injection.

Fuel and spark managed by Megasquirt N Spark.

On pump(depends on the octane, lol) prob ~20psi
On Alky(depends on the mix % and the octane of pump gas, lol) maybe ~5psi more than pump
I'm not sure with that head but the turbo should be good for ~30psi

All of the above depends on timing advance

To be honest I'm kinda worried about the 1/4" return and getting the pressure low enough to idle good

My brother has run 11.1 in his 1st gen Neon with an SRT-4 intercooler. It doesn't mean he wouldn't be better off with something better, but you can go pretty far with one.
