I was talking to somebody at SDAC about somebody that sells universal type weather strip that works to replace L-body door gaskets. The only issue was that the only available color is black. No biggie.
Anybody know what this source is?

Last time I checked that was the only color I'd ever seen (in an L-body for sure).

The rubber itself is black of course, but the vinyl liner is color-matched to the interior.

I bought some stuff from JC Whitney, it works better than the old crap that was wore out but its either slightly too big or stiff and the door is harder to close.

Gotta part number by chance? I would really appreciate it.

Hmmm, maybe a little quieter and less rattles?
X2 on the part number.

The colored part separates from the rubber part, so you should be able to swap it over to the new JCW stuff (I hope).

I don't think the metal part can be separated from the rubber to change the color
