Code 61 Anyone???

I have ran a code check on my 1990 Daytona ES Turbo again and again, and keep coming up with a code 61. I even had the owner of a local auto service shop come over and run the code himself, since he wouldn't believe me over the phone.

I wouldnt believe you either.... there is no 61 to my knowledge.

62 EMR mileage cannot be stored in EEPROM
62 PCM failure SRI mile not stored
63 Controller cannot write to EEPROM
64 Catalytic converter efficiency failure
65 Power steering switch failure

go to allpar.com and serch for diagnostic codes and it will give you a list of them and there is a 61 from the looks of it.
