are the stock 85 axels strong enough for a t-2 engine?

I ran the stock turbo axles and they worked just fine, in my setup. Started with the stock motor, with a g-body cooler and a t2 intake/turbo and stock exhaust at 15lbs made 175 to the wheels and when I pulled it apart it had a 2.5" side exit, stage II, +20's and 19lbs and both axles were in good shape. Go for it.

I have a long stock 89 omni axle in my charger. I have done quite a few 5000 rpm launches with slicks and it is still in there.

i just got my car done went to the track 5 times new mount's on every thing up front new (reman axles) did the burn out for 12 th pass BOOM ! i did order drive shaft shop axel but did't get them yet i am a drive shaft shop dealer but they arent cheep good luck

I guess it is good that I got the lifetime warranty on mine.
