523 clutch cable adjuster?

I haven't pulled it apart yet but here's what's happening. Pull up on pedal and the ratchet clicks and it works good for 1-2 pumps then it's back to disengaging on the floor. It's the adjuster right?

I was unable to find a pedal/adjuster in any of our local j-yards or any parts stores, do they still carry these at the dealership?

Sounds like it's the adjuster, yes. Probably the teeth on the black arm part are worn off or mangled. Sometime if they are just mangled you can clear them up with a razor blade, but that will be just a temporary fix.

Any clutch pedal from any TD should work I would think. I don't think the pedal or arm changed in any meaningful way over the years.

Alright, thanks I'll pull it in a few minutes and have a look. Every yard I went to had zero manual trans cars.
