She went with me to the car show. She loves the Daytonas with T-Tops. But, I just *might* be able to talk her into a diferent body style. I also think she would prefer an automatic. We are in Clarkston, MI, so the closer the better. She has a 2001 Chevy Caviler red (Hey, it's a 2.2L) car she would consider as a trade or she will just sell it later. 30+ mpg car. 40K one owner miles. LMK what you have 4 sale or trade. And I promise I won't make a convertible out of it. :lol: Thanks.

Not sure who close that is to you or what custom it'll take.
But if I was in the market, that one will be on top of my list. Maybe she can learn manual?

Being a 5 spd. in CA would be 2 challenges. However, CA doesn't seem to be as big a problem as originally thought. You just have to meet DOT and emissions, AFAIK. But, I think Victoria is way out West. A long haul from the D.

what stage of the process? Is she looking for a project you two can work on together purchased cheap and keep the Cav as a DD for a while or a finished project?
