Identity ???

I found a 85 ish charger with pizza wheels and GLHS GFX package its black with the silver stripe, I stopped and lookad at it to see if it was a numbered car after looking in it I seen no shelby badging at all inside or out I opend the door and looked alittle closer and still nothing. Now im not a pro on these cars yet but im learning but is there any other way of identifying wheather its a shelby or not

with the stripe it should be a shelby. but not a numberd car.

nice ken I forgot all about dempsey. So after looking at thouse links im going to say its an 83 1/2 shelby charger. Now to get the guy to sell it she's been sitting there for atleast 2 years and has no motor or trans.

If she's black and silver, it would have to be either an '85, '86, or '87. Easy way to distinguish between years:

1985 - no third brake light on spoiler and has a center console armrest
1986 - third brake light on spoiler and has a center console armrest
1987 - third brake light on spoiler and no center console armrest

NAhh lol I did however want this car along time ago seeing it actually got my interest back into the daytona's and a year later I own a very nice one :thumb: . I dont recall if it had a 3rd lbrake light on the spoiler but I do remember it had no console at all just an E-brake handle
