After seeing Will Long's Euro Spec Shadow at SDAC, I'd really like to find a set of euro-spec P-body taillights and side mirrors. E-code headlights would be nice too. Please let me know if you have these parts.

You have any pictures of this euro spec shadow?

I have a set of Euro side mirrors I haven't installed yet. I'd like to see how they look on other color cars. I'm trying to decided if I should color match the side mirrors or not.

I got mine from a solder stationed in germany that was parting out a european shadow. That nightmare lasted a few months. I used my contacts in the military and the power of google to track down his Unit and Unit phone number. I missed out on the headlights though. Might have been the owner if this car you saw at SDAC.

I even tried to persuade a friend starting out in the Army to get stationed in Germany. This way he could find me all the euro spec parts I wanted.

I've got a bunch of pics of Will's car from SDAC, he bought it here in the states from the original owner who had purchased it in Germany. I will try to post them up when I get all the SDAC pictures off my camera this week.

Will is not the guy that you got the mirrors from James, I bought the headlights from that same seller in Germany, fortunately I didn't have the same frustrations you did, they are mounted on my car and working well right now.

Part# HL28540 $12.44ea - worked very nicely, no cut wires and I can go back to stock later if I desire.

You got it. If I had my personal computer I have a pic saved on there. It's currently at the shop though. Will post it if I ever get it back.

Yep! That's them. I have a set of 89-91 Daytona Euro style tailights I'd be willing to trade.

I was trying something similar years ago, trying to communicate with a dude in Germany that had a whole wesbite devoted to his Talbot Horizon, asking him if he could go yarding for me. There was a communication obstacle, fo sho.

Yeah, Babblefish either isn't exactly accurate or else people from overseas just don't feel like dealing with someone from the States (considering shipping, language barrier, etc.) I figure though someone has to have these. If I was able to find a set of Daytona ones a couple years ago, I'm sure I can find these.

I would but a) they're somewhere and b) they're not for sale. Only way I'd let them go is to trade them outright for P-body ones as pictured above.

I am going with 90mm hella projectors and retrofit them. Maybe fit a little better with my pre 89 hood with 90 grille.

My source overseas fell through (finally had enough playing tag and still not having the parts in my hands), so resurging this from the dead. Would really like to acquire these parts since my CSX was actually taken to Germany and spent time there. I think it'd be a nice tribute to its past. Hit me up if any leads. Again, I have Euro Daytona tails that I would be willing to work into a trade for P-body ones.
