Interchangable engines

Got a 92 dodge shadow sitting next to the house I picked up real cheap. After looking into it, Looks like the motor is shot. Wondering what all engines I can throw into it? Looks like the one in it now is a 2.5 TBI

89+ 2.5tbi long block for sure.

Only thing that changed on the 2.5TBI after 89 is some of the bolt on stuff like motor moounts, A/C compressors, coil location and a few other minor things. As long as you car is complete you can just swap the long blocks and be all set.

I don't see many 2.5 in base model shadows from 91-94.
