I went to the Eaton drag day today @ Milan dragway - The normal exit for the dragway, exit 25 (Plank Rd.), is now closed. Torn up for reconstruction. I doubt it will be open by next Tues. There was no pavement at all on it today. And, since this IS Michigan, they don't bother to let you know until you're right on top of the exit.
I'd suggest to everyone to use exit 26 and go thru town to get to Plank Rd. Otherwise, you have to follow the official detour and go 3 miles down 23 to the next exit, make a u-turn and go back up to Plank Rd.
Carpenter Rd. turns into Main street and dead-ends at Plank Rd., take a left and Milan is just a few miles down the road...
