There was a station in Memphis that sold 101 from a locked pump for $1.50/gal back when I was in high school. I thought that was REALLY expensive then. It makes you think twice about getting 100 when you're paying an additional $2.50/gallon.

Usually, there are some track officials there to help take care of the event so hopefully gas will be available.
If not I may have to make a special trip Sunday or find a vendor near by.

I requested race gas to be available at the drag strip as part of our contract. Whether they do it or not ....

And whether it is the good stuff you need Joey, that is another question.

We won't have concession stands open though.

There is also an address for a gas station that will be in the goody bag.

It sells 100 unleaded (maybe others).

the gas station south of M59 off squirrel rd has 110, its less then a few miles away from the hotel.

116 I would say call richards auto parts (in Detroit, MAAY deliver) and reserve a 5 gal drum. Talk to Reiko and tell him Cory sent ya!

I'll check around once I get there and like I said earlier, if I need to hit the track Sunday to get some I will.

Thanks Barry.

Milan has Torco on the pump in various grades, plus they sell 5 gal mini-drums of VP in many various grades. It's not cheap though. I just bought a 5 gal drum of C11 for $70. I bet Rocky's (the fuel/equipment store @ the track) will be open during the SDAC race.

Your best bet - There's a Sunoco station at exit 26 (Carpenter Rd., 1 exit north of the exit for Milan) off US 23 that sells Turbo Blue (110 Octane Leaded) for $5.75/gal. Real cheap considering Premium Unleaded is ~$4.25/gal at the same station. It's at the far right hand pump, both sides...

Oh yeah, that reminds me - exit 25 (Plank Rd.) is now closed. Torn up for reconstruction. I doubt it will be open by next Tues. There was no pavement there today. I'd suggest to everyone to use exit 26 and go thru town to get to Plank Rd. Otehrwise, you have to go 3 miles down 23, make a u-turn and go back up to Plank Rd.

Yes i do. It's how this thing is built and the boost I run without alky injection.

Oh man, thanks for posting that up Rob. :thumb::thumb:

I'm doing the directions packet for the goody bags and it is not too late to edit them. I'll get the website corrected too.

I should mention, that's the South-bound exit (that I think most guys will use). The north-bound exit is fine (if you're coming up from Toledo).
