Looks to be pretty good. Yeah there is a chance of thunderstorms, but hey, it's summer in the midwest.

Every SDAC I've been to has been at least 100 degrees on the drag race day. That means next Tuesday, Detroit is almost guaranteed to see record high temps.

well i just put in a 180 t-stat with a 1/16" hole in it along with a new radiator cap and the radiator is a T1 with 500 miles on it in the r/t and it wont go above 1/4 gauge so bring it on!!!

I don't remember which was worse Cincy or Pittsburgh; they were both unbearably hot at the track.

Topeka and Cecil were pretty bad to.

Cincy was hot... and I was very sick on drag day.

Topeka cooled down a bit for the drag day (I think into the 80's or low 90's), but when we pulled into town on that Saturday it was 116 deg outside, first time I've seen the temp not go below 100 overnight.

Cincy had some trees to hide under at the track. All Pitt had was that pavillion area on the far side. So as far as those 2 I have to say Pitt was worse as far as the heat goes.

Cecil is right up there and I didn't make it to Topeka.

The local forecast here is calling for partly cloudy 80* high on both Monday & Tuesday. IIRC, Chicago at SDAC-14 was cool for the drag day (compared to others).

There is a 30% chance of scattered storms on both Sat & Sun, but the way they talk most areas will not see any rain.

Amen to that. Atleast in Cincy I got to hang out under the trees. Last year in da 'Burgh, I was working in the pit, sweeping up water and tire chunks :p I had the greatest farmer's tan, ever, after that day :lol:

At Topeka, I think at the car show, which was on our last day, we had a high temp of about 88 and we thought it was cool because it had been near 100 (or over) every other day. But it was windy every day there, had it not been for the wind it would have been stifling hot.

Cecil was hot and calm. Detroit was hot in both 1997 and 2000 but 1997 was worse (98* ?).

Nothing beats the heat I remember from Memphis. I like to refer to Memphis as "next door to hell hot".

At least Cincy had trees to hide under in the shade! PRP had that tiny pavilion, but that was it. It felt like a desert in the burnout box! :p

I think the difference was Topeka was dry windy hot.

Memphis was fairly calm and had high humidity along with the heat.

I know everyone has their own sites they prefer............ but accuweather.com is by far my favorite. it loads real quick and doesn't say rain or shine only to be wrong. it lets you read the percent probability and watch the local radar to see where the clouds are at.

You guys must all have that air conditioning I read about in magazines. I thought the whole trip to PA last year was nice and cool. I was bummed out I didn't bring a jacket the first night I was there.

I was bummed out I didn't bring a jacket the first night I was there. It was downright cold Friday night last year! I left the parking lot about 11 because I was cold and just couldn't stand it anymore.

Currently the high temps are forecast for mid 70's - very low 80's. Forecast low temps are 50's to 60's. I suggest everyone bring a jacket or sweatshirt and long pants.

The only reason I use NOAA, its government, no ads.
When I was on dial up, weather . com woulden't even load.

i work midnights and go in at 11pm, i have worn sweat pants and a hoody for the last 3 nights and was comfortable outside and inside the shop, for the last week before that i wore a t shirt and basketball shorts and never got even slightly cold outside all night. like originally stated, this is MI, there is no consistency, pack for both and you will be fine no matter what.

the weather is impossible to predict. It looks as if there are quite a bit of clouds coming down from Canada on Saturday night and all day Sunday now. I hate looking at the weather anymore. I think I'm done until Saturday night.

SEE YINS THERE!!!The local weather here this morning says 50% chance of rain showers for Saturday afternoon, night, and a few possible early Sunday morning. Other than that, fair to partly cloudy with highs in the high 70's for most of the days.
