I recently switched out my power module. Maybe that's the problem. It seems unlikely. The car is an '86 Daytona Turbo Z CS. The power module came from an '87 New Yorker auto.
When I turn the car off, the Navigator stays on. The reverse lights will also stay on if the car is in reverse sometimes. Sometimes if you move the shifter to reverse the navigator will go off. There just seems to be an odd confluence of reverse position with the shifter, the reverse lights, and the navigator.
I let the car sit for an hour and now things are fine.
