On the 16 valve hybrid setups, I was wondering what cams to use? Are most using the stock cams or are people getting aftermarket cams and if so what brands?

2.0 cams are a good start for around 7000 rpm limit(they dont make power that high but good enough IMO). Personally I believe that on a turbo car, cams and TB are the last mods to consider after everything else.

Many like the Crane cams, 18's for a high powered 5spd, 16's for an auto, Thats for ~600HP or so and driving it on the street. Like I said though I think you need a good flowing turbine and header so reversion doesnt come into play

Be careful with the BC(Brian Crower) stg 2 cams, as a certain vendor on srtforums has been selling stock regrinds as those, so you may see them cheap over there but are possibly not the real deal

Stock 2.0 cams are great up top, stock 2.4 cams better out of the hole.

2.0 cams have pink paint mark on the blank, 2.4 have blue/green paint
marks on the cams. 2.0 cams have the keyway at *12 o clock while the
2.4 cams the keyway at 6 o clock. The 12 o clock of cams is determined
by the odd location hole in the cam blank, this is used to manualy locate
TDC of the cam (its clear after you handle the cam).
*some 2.0 ex cams may be at 6-o clock, check paint mark*

If your starting from scratch the 2.4 cams realy idle smooth and pull.

Mixxing and matching has shown the 2.4 IN cam and the 2.0EX cam
is a nice blend of overall power (doesnt kill bottom end like using
both 2.0 cams). With adjustable gears try moving the IN cam ahead
and the EX cam retarded a tad for high boost (removes overlap).

how do the 2.0 cams respond at 0,0 (or as close as one can get to 0 without degreeing....so factory gears)?

Crazy top end exploded for for me at 4500 thru 7200rpm, had verying
results depending on the comp pistons I had (8.1/1 and 8.5:1).
